The Division of Metaphysical Affairs is an A.R.G. (Alternate Reality Game). Nothing contained within this website is real, it is simply an online game posing as a supernatural government website.

We ask that players play the game "by the rules", as in you must use the site as intended. The intended solution for a puzzle will never involve looking through the source code of the website, and doing so will only spoil your experience. Similarly, do not search for hidden pages by manually typing in URLs, hidden pages have reasons to be hidden and will always be revealed one way or another. If you do not have your own access code, submit your "application" to the D.M.A. and we will provide you with a custom access code. We do not recommend you give your access code out freely.

The D.M.A. is inspired by the game 'Home Safety Hotline', a Horror-Puzzle game released in 2024. We have no relations to HSH and are not a direct fan-project, it is simply a similar premise of solving cases for characters in the game which involve unnatural anomalies and creatures.

If you would like to get in contact with the developer of the project, you can do so through the discord linked on the homepage (under the guise of an "application" to join the D.M.A.).
